  18. <b>Q: I am at work and have to dial 9 to access an outside line, how do I let Pocket Dial4Me do that?<p>

  21. A: Pocket Dial4Me uses the Windows CE system settings to determine how you want your phone numbers dialed.<p>

  24. <li>Select 'File', then 'Select Your Location' from the Pocket Dial4Me menu.

  26. <li>The Dialing properties are displayed.
  27.  
  28. <li>Select 'New...' to create a new location or select an existing one to edit.

  30. <li>Enter your area code and country code (1 for the USA).<p>
  31. Tone or pulse dialing have no effect on Pocket Dial4Me since it can only do tone dialing.

  33. <li>Tap 'Edit...' in 'Dialing Patterns'.

  35. <li>Put the number you need to access an outside line (eg. 9) in front of
  36. local, long and international calls. The display should then show:

  50. (as in the example above), for most European countries it's 00.
